Ok. this is hard to explain kinda.
But like ... i dont like how alot of females holla, or try to get YOU to holla.
Let me start by saying there are still alot of women that dont approach men first. but alot of the ones that do come kinda weak/vague with it. especially if yall know each other.
case in point: chick hit me up that i went to school with. out of this blue.
her: hey how u been.
me: good.
and thats the extent of her advances. is this fair in the 2010? maybe im trippin, but itd be nice to see more women put forth a bigger effort, especially since us guys usually have to.
can anyone relate.

lol.... This is true. Most females have no idea how to get at men because that's not what their used to. She's not in her "natural" position so it's going to coming across that way. It's up to us to still "pursue" without pursueing... if that makes sense.

Not really trying to start a thread about my situation per say, but it seems to me that women think by merely saying "hello" theyve done their job in getting the ball rolling.
dont get me wrong, someone has to break the ice. and if you're an attractive women, it doesnt take ALOT. but it takes more that "wutup fool"
not many men sit around waiting for the day a particular attractive female drops them a "hello" text.
guys are not like, "soon as she say HELLO...i'm all over that." -
Im a Str8 forward type person, now if this would have happened in a work setting then I can understand where shorty coming from on the vague tip, but outside of that Im goin ask what the ? is poppin.

lol no not at all. and you're right: its totally conceivable that she was just checking on an old friend (me)
but i have had situations where a random "how you been" has developed into something more.
as a female, you cant tell me you never sent that "how you been" text to a guy u liked -

I totally understand but im playing the devils advocate.
However, as a female, I have usually started the conversation with "hola"; then "que pasa?"; then ill proceed to say (once they are smitten with my amazing spanish skills) "what are you doing this weekend? I think we should go hang out." I dont give a guy an option to say no. Because the ball is in my court; I'm letting him know I am available for a limited time and I suggest that with going out with me; we shall have a lovely experience. -
