Who you got? You repping Premo or Bobby Digi?
After much thought I'm voting: The Abbott. Premo got mad classics but RZA got this on lock I think.
RIP Guru
for a better background for those not deeply familiar with music production here is a generic definition:
A producer has many roles that may include, but are not limited to, gathering ideas for the project, selecting songs and/or musicians, coaching the artist and musicians in the studio, controlling the recording sessions, and supervising the entire process through mixing and mastering.

It's Dead even for me.

I wish I was more knowledgeable about the technical aspects of what they do.
This is hard...I don't know yet. -
Man ? You For Making This Thread...? Too Difficult...Its Like Choosing Between Ass And ?

I know right. I thought on this for an ill minute too. IMO This is tougher than a GOAT rapper discussion.

i can't choose. i wish it was primo vs. pete rock since i think they're more easily comparable.

RZA hands down. DJ Premier is legendary, but RZA crafted the sound bed for two undeniable classics in 36 Chambers and Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. Both were entirely produced by RZA. That's not counting arguable classics like Liquid Sword and Iron Man. His sound is unorthodox from the sound effects, the distortion, to the drums, everything.

Cuban Linx was that fire. For real.

The Rza...Premo is not that far behind though!

TTT Bump....

20 Pac threads, 15Eminem threads, and numerous shock threads get hits but a real discussion on hiphop is like a ghost town. SMMFH.
