swear yall. i'm from pittsburgh. do you guys understand what the hell i have gone through for the last past..idk 18 DAMN SEASONS !!




i'm 22 years old. and dont give me that ? about the cubs...ATLEAST YALL HAVE MADE IT TO THE PLAYOFFS SINCE I'VE BEEN BORN



thats wrong of me though. cause i'm sure they had some success in 91.





how can you possibly keep the faith when your hometown team is this bad??



i mean if the rays can be a top team in the leauge after bein straight garbage dump, then maybe the pirates can too......yeah i'll believe that ? when i see it





whatever. better luck next year....I JUST WANT A ? .500 TEAM. IS THAT ASKIN FOR MUCH?!?!

    and even the pens won the stanley cup.




    the pirates have no signs of competing for ? . not even a divisonal crown...not even a wild card birth...? it. just try to stay outta the bottom of the central for once

    Pirates been supplying other teams with Under 25 all stars since 1990, they're pivotal to baseballs future. They sacrifice the record of a team for the good of the league.

    yeah. we have one of the best farm systems in the history of the game.



    and at this point, ? it. lets get us a basketball team. then well draft the next lebron james, and trade him for prospects & more draft picks

    I used to be an Astros fan. But I remember, everytime they needed to move up in the standings they would beat up on the pirates and the Brewers.


    The Astros, Cubs, and cardinals really got to the playoffs all those years because of those two teams.

    But at least you have the steelers.

    17 Straight Losing Seasons it's Time to just pass Out Ropes to all and tell them during the 7th Inning to hang themself...

    serious anybody can have a losing season ? happens, but when you go that long then you're not even trying to get better you're just looking for constant excuses like "We're in a Rebuilding Year"...stop using that garbage ass excuse and attempt to improve...

    that's just embarrassing.

    its terrible. every year is a rebuilding year. you trade all these good (sometimes great) players away, and what do you get in return??



    no one fully understands what the hell the pirates organization is thinking. like you can even sell me on the fact that you're buliding for the future. i was apart of the future...ha like you've been sayin the same ? for 20 years.





    like you can barely look ahead to next year. i mean what can you expect? you cant even say 'well they showed signs of that they're moving in the right direction' or 'yeah they struggled, but everything will be okay next year'




    its really a shame, when all you can hope for is just .500. if they manage to have a winning season...81-81, that'll be like a world series victory for us.
