"Exhibit C" has been getting regular airplay in a handful of cities. I've been voting for this track on my station for the last few days and they finally played it around 1 AM this morining (Shocked the hell out of me, this station has been dominated by crunk/snap/ringtone/trap music for about 5 years now)

Anyway, maybe this online voting ? really does work. So, request "Exhibit C" on your local station (or any station you want, you can vote in each station once an hour). Songs are in alphabetical order on the left
side of the screen. Just click the box next to Jay Electronica - Exhibit C, type your name in the Name box toward the bottom of the page, type in the confirmation code at the bottom and hit sumbit. The bigger the city, the bigger the impact is on the charts. If the song isn't listed for your station, just type the artist and the title into one of the boxes above the name box.

BTW, I'm not a stan LOL....but this is the most airplay that a straight up underground track with no hook has gotten in a long ass time. ("Triumph" from Wu-Tang Clan is the last one I can remember getting airplay....and that was like '97)

There is no such thing as real hip hop. Soulja Boy is as hip hop as Afrika Bambatta.

im up in hartford ct and they have been playing it on hot 93.7 regularly since December. The radio is pretty solid when you listen to it after 10pm they will play classic ? with lyrical content not the swag BS. At then end of the day i respect the radios hustle during the daylight hours they play some cheesy love songs for the females (including all 9 of beyonce's singles) and play the same 3 tracks from mainstream rap that the majority of the pop top 40 love to hear and record companies are paying to radio to play. Its about sucking in the majority of ppl who like the waterd down cheezy stuff versus catering to the much smaller audince off ppl on this site that want some quality hip hop bumpin in their car.

hence, the quotes...I hate that term just as much as the next man...but people stay complaining about "real hip hop" not getting airplay, but they don't do ? about it. This song actually has a legit shot at taking off. If it gets enough requests, maybe it will.
