    I love how he brought up mixing by lowering certain frequencies as opposed to boosting levels - my homeboy in nashville has been schoolin' me on 'dat and it really makes a difference

    oh fa sho, freq tweakin will do a track far more justice than just cloning/layering or boosting the volume which is what probably seems like the logical thing to do in most cases. sidenote: nashville is a recording mecca. to the brothers that think this is too advanced, i encourage you to experiment, your ears will guide you, trust me!

    This is a good tutorial, I'm assuming I can use the same principals in Protools as my current set-up has me re-wiring Reason into Protools
