Beats spit on that didnt outdo original artist

ok it took me a while to think of a title for the thread so i hope it makes sense lls
but i was in another thread and illogics had said something about jay killin dead presidents 2 and to this day no one has spit better on that beat...
so with that bein said wut beat has been used numerous times by other artist but still the original artist has the best version?
i'd say where im from by jay has been done by a couple artist but nobody killed it like jay
so wut is everyone elses opinion?

i disagree about drake lupe and beans on the ignorant ish track cause if jay would've kept his original 3rd verse the track would've been better beans had like what 8bars

I'd say any Wu song really. It's not so much that they are just better than everyone. It's really more a combination of the facts that not a lot of people spit over their beats and that Rza is pretty damn good at tailoring his beats to fit particular artists. I've heard a few people try to spit over Wu beats, and it's not that they didn't sound good, they just didn't seem to fit on the beats as well as the Wu artists.
