Shootem & Swiff Official Peace Summit

Recently the two non-crazy members of the Social Lounge (Shootem & Swiff) have gotten into a round of fisticuffs on these internets concerning our President Barack Hussien Obama's commitment (of lack-thereof) to the progressive movement.
Shootem is concerned this may turn into an internation e-cident and does not wish to go to eWar with Swiff as we have learned the lesson of the Palestinians and Judans. As an Elder SL Statesman and An expert in the Art of Negotiation (and by expert I mean a 1-Hour Special on Hostage Negotiations on the Discovery Channel some months ago) I feel compelled to quell this spat between this duo as to avoid rival sects from forming and an international internet crisis.
GEntleman please take your seats and lets begin the negotiations for peace:
Starting Point: Can we all agree that the progressive movement is an important movement that would greatly improve this county and that Obama is in fact interested in getting thigs done and the disagreement is in the method only?

So what happened here is that this morning Swiffness and I exchanged some heated words in a thread of mine. I got on AIM and told Darc that I was concerned there might be in-fighting among the few remaining non-tinfoil-lunatic posters. Since then the discourse has calmed considerably.
Let us use this thread to celebrate that, while we may disagree on some important matters, neither of us think the Illuminati is trying to steal our ? . -
