Okay lets try this.

Post 2 verses.

One from Jay-Z and One from Nas (doesn't have to be your favorite, because then we might have a lot of repeats)

The poster below must choose the better verse and the proceed to post his Jay and Nas verses. So on and so forth

We can then tally the votes on who had the better verses.

try not to be bias......impossible i know!

You feel my triumph never, feel my pain I'm lyin
Low in the leather Zion, the best that's ever came
The game changes like, my mind just ain't right
We 'gwan get this dough, I guess it ain't your night
Suckin me in like a vacumn, I remember
tellin my family I'll be back soon, that was December
Eighty-five and, Jay-Z rise ten years later
got me wise still can't break my underworld ties
I wear black a lot, in the Ac', act a lot
Got matchin VCR's, a huge Magnavox
to nitch, green like spinach pop wines that's vintage
It's a lot of big money in my sentence
Hittin towards a mil', lip a, written I ? like that
chick faked me one-two cat, yeah, I do dat
Ain't no stoppin the champagne from poppin
the drawers from droppin, the law from watchin, I hate em
    Jay

This rhythmatic explosion, is what your frame of mind has chosen
I'll leave your brain stimulated, ? is frozen
Speak with criminal slang, begin like a violin
End like Leviathan, it's deep well let me try again
Wisdom be leakin out my grapefruit troop
I dominate break loops, givin mics men-e-straul cycles
Street's disciple, I rock beats that's mega trifle
And groovy but smoother than moves by Villanova
You're still a soldier, I'm like Sly Stone in Cobra
Packin like a rasta in the weed spot
    Vocals'll squeeze glocks, MC's eavesdrop
Though they need not to sneak
My poetry's deep, I never fell
Nas's raps should be locked in a cell---nas

We used to fight for building blocks
Now we fight for blocks with buildings that make a killin'
The closest of friends when we first started
But grew apart as the money grew, and soon grew black-hearted
Thinkin' back when we first learned to use rubbers
He never learned so in turn I'm kidnappin' his baby's mother
My hand around her collar, feeding her cheese
She said the taste of dollars was ? so I fed her fifties
About his whereabouts I wasn't convinced
So I kept feedin' her money 'til her ? started to make sense
Who could ever forsee, we used to stay up all night at slumber parties
now I'm tryin' to rock this ? to sleep
All the years we were real close
Now I see his fears through her tears, know she's wishin' we were still
    close
Don't cry, it is to be
In time, I'll take away your miseries and make 'em mine, D'Evils... - Jay Z

(So whatchu sayin?) It's like the game ain't the same
Got younger ? pullin the triggers bringing fame to they name
and claim some corners, crews without guns are goners
In broad daylight, stickup kids, they run up on us
Fo'-fives and gauges, Macs in fact
Same ? 'll catch a back to back, snatchin yo' cracks in black
There was a snitch on the block gettin ? knocked
So hold your stash until the coke price drop
I know this crackhead, who said she gotta smoke nice rock
And if it's good she'll bring ya customers in measuring pots, but yo
You gotta slide on a vacation
Inside information keeps large ? erasin and they wives basin
It drops deep as it does in my breath
I never sleep, cause sleep is the cousin of death
Beyond the walls of intelligence, life is defined
I think of crime when I'm in a New York state of mind - Nas
