How do yall go about it with a complete stranger? You know those awkward moments when yall are sitting there in silence. Do yall have any go to icebreakers or do you just say some ? to be saying something?

Lol I really meant with the opposite sex. I worded it ambiguously so females can participate in the thread as well. -

especially when ur in the club and u cant think of anything to say. ? always works. Cuz after u break the ice u can transition from there -

Yep, this is what I do. -
the location will depend on what I will say.
If I'm on the elevator then its a light quick conversation... nothing deep.... and I probably wont holla.
if its in a lounge/club then I will revert to something unobtrusive.... but still kind of random... "did you see the fight outside?"
I cant reveal my cheat sheet but... its a matter of action ... thats the only way you will get semi comfortable...
so I know the minor anxiety you might feel. At the end of the day.. I'd rather say something and feel stupid than to not say anything at all.
edit: also sometimes the random ? is sometimes the funniest approach. Woman are so use to the same ol.. "how are you?, whats your name? where you from?"
Its redundant for them... so sometimes you have to come in through a side door.
but... dont over think it... just do whats makes you feel comfortable.... the important things is that you do something -

heres what could work for you (and Im by no means a pro) but.... All you need is one good opener thats relevant to your environment. Look at is as a default option;
Some thing thats well rehearsed to the point where it seems natural and improvisational. This will get you to a natural state... and could open up the door to further conversation
for ex: in a club lounge: ask a girl with a drink "is that a Barona tonic?" I dont know wtf it is and neither will she but... it will Possibily open the door for more convo.
if she gives you some interest keep talking.... like if she ask you questions thats interest on her part.... if you get like 3.... its time to close.

but yea, u just gotta know how to read people...
ice breakers aren't really universal, cuz as some of these anti-social ass ? in this thread just said, u can't sark up a convo with just anybody.. but the ppl who are open to convo's all they need is a little push...
