Poet Jasmine Mans, a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin, is not a rapper, but she has the intellect of a scholar and the bars of a battle MC. But, her poetry contains venom, yet reads like a cautionary letter. She's got some humdingers like, "Don't let them ? the Assata out of you." and "They will Lauryn Hill you" and "This microphone is not a ? so you are going to have to come a lil' harder." of course the "hype" from Pink Friday will last till the end of the year.......I have a feeling around Spring 2011 the seeds will have been planted and her 15 minutes will be almost up -

an how so many of ya'll miss the point? She wasn't so much dissing Nikki as she was decrying Nikki's style and image; one that promotes baffoonism, materialism, is hollow and is apart of the white definition of beauty...
Nikki sold out hard and is shuckin and jiving...a lot of rappers are and this young woman, who might I add seems to actually have knowledge of self is pointing that out... -
i aint really a fan of nicki minaj, and i understand what ol girl sayin about how the style is fake and sellout-ish, but this ? comes off as hatin...i get the focal point being about how a female mc should carry herself & shouldnt ? & whatnot but uhh.......
