What in the world I just watch. Do you ladies agree with the movie? Do you think it depicts reality?

i've seen it..yeah the things these women were going through happen everyday-to all women. If you aren't one of the women in this movie (i'm not btw) you know someone who is or has been.
I havent read the book either but from what I understand it was just a book of poems. which would explain why they would randomly start speaking in prose or whatever. I know that threw a few people off lol

It's about black women and their problems, which usually are caused by black men.

it's amazing how black men's reputation must never be tarnished. . . i mean, the movie was basically about the bs some black women go through, and yet somehow nicca's have found a way to make this ? about them.
why are black women always suppose to minimize their problems for black men, but the opposite is never done ?

I dont watch ? Tyler Perry puts out because it's predictable.

Lemme guess....Black men are evil and black ? are victims of the evil ? ? Pretty much the jist of it right?

I could go to a hair salon to hear that ? .

wtf u talkin bout? Black men's reputation have been tarnished in film for years. Now we get to see a filmmaker showcase it every year with a movie while making black women look like victims. I just want Tyler Perry to show the whole story. He makes his characters too one dimensional. I even wanted Hill Harper's character to show a different side and not be all goody two shoes.

Um Tyler Perry is a black men himself.
lol..why would he subliminally bash black men?

He tries to make his stories based on real life situations.
& it just so happens that his stories are examples of what
    happens sometimes in black relationships.

I don't think he actually sits @ a table & thinks "Hmmm, now
how can I make black men look bad today."

All imma say is its funny when ? get morals all the sudden when it comes to anything tyler perry .. ? are hypocrites i tend to wonder are ? mad because what is shown represents them.. is that reflection in the mirror yours.. A lil ? consistency would be appropriate .. dont just get tyler.... morals. ? i only watched 2 tylear perry movies in my life.. im ot a huge fan.. and Just from seeing previews of meet the browns i came to the conculsion that the man mr brown or whatever was "slavish".. my question is .. is he touching a never by talking about taboo subjects.. "cuz ? aint tryin to hear all that" or what
