Is there such thing as intuition, reading people's thoughts ? like that? Or is it merely that our minds are like super computers and can to some degree compute and formulate what possible outcomes there might be?

There are many factors to look into when reading people. People who are good at reading others need to consider a lot of things when they are "reading" other people. How well you can read people depends on how well you know them and how open and obvious they are with their body language and what they tell you. Here are some of the things I consider when "reading" people.
1.Content - Ideally, the person you are talking with uses words to tell you what they really mean. However, people don't always use words to tell you what they mean, or other clues may tell us they mean something different than what they are saying.
    2. Body Language - When someone completely avoids eye contact, they might be lying. Notice if the person seems droopy (sad), or if their muscles seem rigid or tense the other person might be uncomfortable or they might just be cold. There are many things people convey with body language, but you will usually need other clues to confirm that something they say with their body is what they mean.
    3. Tone - Notice if the person is speaking quietly (maybe they're shy or sad), happy is usually higher pitched and angry tends to get lower. When someone talks faster it can mean that they are excited or that they are nervous.
*Reading other people is something you get better at as you get more experience with people, but it is not always reliable because people have different ways of reacting when they are emotional.
But for one to do it for so long, can be able read people thoughts as well, in terms of predictable patterns.

So iyo, could intuition possibly be someone who is merely subconsciously picking up on all the signals and not some mystic inner knowing?
