In England the guys offen mock each other and we get a little offensive etc , but its all in jest.
Last year i was in New Orleans, and I said this to a guy
Me: Have you been for a Italian meal son?
Guy: No why?????
Me: Its looks like you stole the table cloth and put it on as a shirt
All the lads laughed etc, but guy wanted to fight me.
do you lot get the BANTER or was that guy just a little sensitive

The guy i said it to was part of the group of people we went out drinking with, I think he was my cousins work mate
a bit of banter should of made him feel welcome and one of the lads -
i still think he would of felt more threatend more than anythin, there's a huuuge gap when it comes to stuff like this with us and the americans

Example: In England you wouldnt catch a Man Ud fan wearing another teams colours just for fashion. -
im in europe and most ppl that hav la sox or ny hats dont even know what team they wear
