This is a masterpiece and goldmine for any avid lover of 70's funk, soul, blues and disco music
(such as myself)
Seriously spent damn near hours, going threw this blog, and downloading over 3Gs or more worth of music
every one of the albums I listend to and download has been pure gold!
And a good 85% of the artists I've never heard before or maybe only heard a song here or there.

Great! I've been looking for Minnie Riperton's 1st album for the longest hope it's there. I have been trying to find less popular (but still good) artists and songs from the 70s lately.

That the spot for you than....I have a TON music there , at least over 30 artists I’ve only passing or straight never heard of. Yet as I said before know their music throw hip hop producers samples…..
Unfortunately tho that practical blog shut down to some redesigns …..hopefully not pulling a IC with their “upgrade” and be out for 7 months
Luckily I know plenty other alternative blogs that also specialize in rare funk & soul.
I’ll posted up the links once get off work……… -
Thanks! I can't see the vids here at work. what are the names of the artists & songs you posted?
-
if you want to find those albums you can go to www.dustygroove.com it's a record store here on the N Side of Chicago. They will ship it to you. Also hit up resale shops and garage sells if you a serious crate digger such as myself. I've come across some gems in my 20 years of digging.
