"Transformers: Dark of the Moon"

Well dispute the bad critical reviews, "Revenge of the Fallen" was one of the highest grossing films of 2009 as well as one of the highest grossing DVD's. So "Transformers" has become one of the most successful franchises in Movie History. Well according to Michael Bay, the next installment is the final of his trilogy and it will be much more darker than the 1st two. He also said there won't be any gimmicks or funny characters. He's basically saying this is the "Empire Strikes Back" of the "Transformers" series. Well here's the teaser:

OK, not to flashy, it's just a teaser but it looks like of course based on the title, the storyline has to do with the moon.

Read some place a while ago that Shockwave will be the main antagonist in this one since he was left to control Cybertron when Megatron left in pursuit of the Autobots. I don't know if that comic and cartoon storyline will hold up in this case.
If you go back to the original movie poster with the big head over the planet Earth, that's Shockwave's head with the one eye. -

Here's the poster, no matter what people felt about Part 2, I think this is going to smash the box office. It's dropping 4th of July:

7/1-7/4 is considered 4th of July weekend at the box office. The 4th is on Monday, the 1st is on Friday this year. Every "Transformers" movie was released around the 4th of July holiday.

technically he was suppose to be galvatron in ROTF but Bay & Co. didnt want to confuse the main public so he kept his name Megatron
