Hasn't been a female singer like her before or since....
the perfect combination of pop music and pure soul
Whitney and Mariah may have sold more records, but neither had that 'magic' or the star factor
they made prewritten pop records big hits, while aretha completely outshined otis redding, elvis, sam cooke, the beatles, and stevie wonder
