The original "Fly" came out in the 50's and the remake with Jeff Goldblum came out in the late 70's early 80's. Do they need to make it a 3rd time

im never keen on remakes but this is one movie i wouldn't mind seeing remade again. i never saw the original but i loved the 80s one. that movie is the sole reason i hate flies.i knew they were nasty before but that movie really gives you an up close and personal look at how nasty they really are. and i agree about the cgi, they should chill w/ that ? . and good luck finding another jeff goldblum cuz he was perect for that role.

I just got through watching the 86' version for the first time since I seen it last when I was a kid and man I dont remember that movie being that good. People talk about True Grit was a great film? No The Fly is a great film! This movie was oscar/emmy worthy. Towards the end of the movie I was glued 2 the screen, no ending has had that kind of impact since I last seen Vertigo.
Awesome score.....
