When is Andy Reid / The Eagles Front office gonna get an O Line?

Over the last few weeks we've seen take a beating like McNabb did in years past, like Kolb did earlier this year and like every Eagle RB has over the last 10 years... When does Fat Boy take the blame for a terrible O-Line??? I mean he is the O-Coordinator which means he's involved in blocking schemes. It just proves that QB's who can throw and run, mask Reid's ineptitude as a coach...

Good question. Vick can only dodge so many blitz packages

I don't think it's the players, they have an offensive tackle that's a pro bowler. I just don't think they are coached well, like there are zero adjustments made. Yesterday is a perfect example, the vikes had the same two blitz packages coming and nothing was done about it. Vick is forced to scramble, but that's what makes so dangerous. Unless you catch him completely off guard, 9 times out of 10 he will scramble out the blitz and make a play.

I'm a Cowboy fan so I could give a ? about the Eagles... however, watching Vick get sacked 6 times and remembering that McNabb had games where he was sacked over 10 times and remember how Westbrook and Buchalter were routinely tackled in the backfield and hurt, makes me wonder about Reid and his blocking packages. -

well since we are both cowboy fans,lets discuss why tony romo always gets ? on by nfl fans when we have just as ? of a oline as other teams,yet those qb's get excuses and romo gets called garbage -
They'll address it in the draft obviously but its a combination of bad coaching and/or scouting. U can find a good o lineman in the later rounds of the draft ex. New England

They attempted too when they traded for Jason Peters, the draft and free agents may be the best option though.

those are his qb ratings..... -
Yesterday was less about the oline and more about simple blitz pick ups by the backs and tight ends. The Vikings simply brought one more guy than the Eagles could block and the Eagles simply didn't do a good enough job of picking that guy up more often. The guard/center combo for the Eagles is weak but there tackles are ok. Needed better adjustments

You might be right. Maybe saying the O line is the problem is unfair, but Philly definitely has a problem protecting the QB. Even when Vick looks spectacular, he still takes a lot of punishment. Yesterday was terrible though. He was limping after the first drive. The sad part is the worst hits he took were the ones where he stayed in the pocket. They've got to fix that. Vick won't last long at this rate. -
