"If you are the same person at 50 as you were at 20, you've wasted 30 years of your life." - Mohammad Ali

On that note, an actual leopard doesn't change it's spots. lol

It's messed up though, cuz for some reason I feel like I've always been the same yet I'm not the same person I was yesterday.

I understand what you're saying, except for the last line.

Maybe your nature hasn't changed, but your nature has changed you.

I think certain core elements of your personality should be fixed and other, more fluid areas should be subject to change, depending on knowledge and experience gained.

I think that your activities may change but it takes something life altering to change your personality. If your a naturally pessimistic person it may take you loosing someone you truly loved to learn how to be less so or you may actually go deeper into your personality solidifying your original stance.

There is also the factor that people appear to change because you may become more comfortable with who you are and others may not appreciate that because you never showed that side of you to the world.

Wouldn't my nature and ME be the same? I am confused by what you wrote.

Like our "self" doesn't change just our behavior?

That seems to happen a lot, even on here. People think you've changed when you do something you just never bothered to do on here.

Basically....your sense of self should remain stable but not behaviour as people learn new things as they get older.

Throughout their lifetime change them or when going from kitten to adult?

I'd say "both", since I don't know if the morphing stops at some point.
