More Popular- Michael Jackson or Jesus?

My friend brought this question up recently. Ranging from when MJ became famous to now, who was more liked/popular? I thought the easy answer was Jesus and called the ? was stupid for even asking me, but I was surprised on how many people think MJ is more liked and popular than Jesus. Thoughts?

Me and my homie had this discussion at work....
Everybody has more than likely heard of both of these men.....
But i honestly think that mike jax is the most famous person of all time...simply because there are lots of people that dont believe in jesus -

I'm actually not a first time poster. Just had to change my name cause I forgot my password. Anyway, MJ loss a lot of fans when he starting sleeping in bed with kids. It's close, but the answer is Jesus in my opinion. -

Yeah one glaring difference though, there is evidence MJ existed as a human being, and not scant evidence, hoards of it. So while there are millions of more jesus fans, they don't count cuz they worship imaginary things. -
When Jesus died it wasnt no 2,587 outside of Rome Community Hospital wit stone carved Halmark cards & flowers for his ass. JUST SAYIN.

MJ by a long shot. It's really not close. There's a whole bunch of people who don't believe in/ don't like (the theory of) Jesus. Especially white Jesus lol.

Well I know is just going by Facebook, there is something like 27millions fans clicked "like" for MJ and not much for Jesus, if that can be a basis for anything
