New L.A. Noire Trailer Leaked, Game Officially Dated
Options
Someone leaked the L.A. Noire trailer that was supposed to go out on Monday. Too late, we now know that Rockstar's crime thriller will arrive May 17. You'll solve many crimes in the game; here we learn about the biggest.
A serial killer is an unusual direction for a story set in 1947. People have committed murder for centuries but the most recognizable serial killers come from later eras.
The trailer notes that everything you see here comes from within the game. We've reached out to Rockstar for comment.

I've never been into Rockstar games because I'm not the biggest sandbox fan. But this ? is a day one.
-
new gameplay trailer... face motion is flawless -
I had questions about how exactly they would incorporate the interrogation aspect of the game with the precision of the ? expressions, but it looks like they got it right. The game looks truly great.

Don't fancy pre-ordering L.A. Noire but worried you'll miss out on the various shop-offered early-bird goodies?
Rockstar has revealed they'll be sold as downloadable additions after launch - as will the Read Dead Redemption pre-order goodies at long last.
"All of the L.A. Noire pre-order content will be made available for purchase as DLC at some point after the game comes out," wrote Rockstar on its website.
"We have long planned to do this for all digital pre-order items.
"In case you're interested," the post added, "the Red Dead Redemption pre-order items (Deadly Assassin Outfit, Golden Guns Weapon Pack and War Horse) will finally be available for download via Xbox Live and PlayStation Network this April. Apologies that has taken so long, but we ran into some technical issues."
L.A. Noire can be pre-ordered from a variety of shops, each dangling a different piece of bonus bait before you. -
The Newest L.A. Noire [Launch] Trailer Is The Most Action-Packed L.A. Noire Trailer

You will need to be patient when you play L.A. Noire. You're a detective, not a soldier; a crime-solver, not a crime-committer.
There will be action in the Rockstar/Team Bondi game that finally comes out for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next week. Here is the game's official launch trailer, filled with gunplay.
We'll have plenty more L.A. Noire coverage next week, but remember, everyone, this is a game about finding clues, noticing suspects' nervous ? tics and following the right leads. You will be able to shoot and be shot at, but when all is said and done, in L.A. Noire, the notebook is mightier than the gun.

Really hope this doesn't work against them. -

Heavy Rain did just fine as a slower, paced game. I suspect this will do even better because it will appeal to a broader range. I could see this selling as well as RDR did, maybe not GTA. -

The fan-base for this type of game is not as big as the more action-oriented game. Sad, because people are not willing to give it a try to see if they like it or not. -

True. True. Hopefully it does well. It's good to see big studios break away from the norm and give us something fresh.
