Boomer Esiason 'disgusted' by Colin Kaepernick, calls QB a 'disgrace'

NEW YORK-- Everyone has an opinion on Colin Kaepernick's decision to sit during the playing of the national anthem before 49ers games.
Some people agree with it, and some people don't. Some people believe it's Kaepernick's right to sit, and some people, like former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason, do not.
Speaking to NJ Advance Media on Tuesday at the NFL on CBS media day, Esiason ripped the 49ers quarterback
"It was one of the most disgraceful displays I've ever seen by a professional athlete on his field of play," Esiason, now an analyst for CBS, said. "He signed a contract with an NFL football team. He has on an NFL football helmet. He has got an NFL uniform on. He doesn't have the right, I don't believe, to now start putting out his own political views in that form.
"It would be like me walking out on the field in my football jersey with a 'Make America Great Again' hat on. How many people would that ? off? You can't do this. ... I couldn't have been more direct, succinct, or disgusted by Colin Kaepernick."
In Esiason's opinion, the risk of keeping Kaepernick far outweighs the reward.
"I'd cut him," Esiason said.
aint boomer the same guy who got mad at dion sanders for saying it was drugs in the nfl.
boomer said now he has to have THAT talk with his kid.
dion said he should have already had it with his kid.....lol
imma find that video
This was when Dion was on the CBS nfl morning show. I think boomer said something about his 12 y/o son not knowing what ? ? was. If I remember correctly Dion was quite shocked by that lol. -

Lebron's just feeling bold because he knows he ain't gettin no more rings.
would bron say this as a rookie?
Who knows, I was just making a joke about Lebron, but people got no sense of humor these days. Another reason I don't ? with sports anymore. -

What I want to do to all these dudes posting in this thread and yet still watching the games. -
As a black man in the military it's ? frustrating. Seeing these white people get all riled up and for what? Cuz we won't conform to what's normal for you? We inconvenienced your time for your football game? We been inconvenienced for quite some time.

Im starting to realize that Kap pretty much laid his career and his reputation at the alter of justice. Had to take a step back and see how significant this ? is.
It was all started by one man. Damn. Thats powerful stuff. -

Here’s how Donald felt about Pres. Obama calling for the Redskins to change their name. Interesting change of view since assuming the presidency:
