Nas
A variety of Wu (36 Chambers, Liquid Swords, Cuban Linx)
Kweli
The Roots

Kweli got a nice discography. Some of the Wu I still gotta get into. Especially Cappadonna and Killah Priest.
-
Nas
Redman
A Tribe Called Quest
OutKast
Boogie Down Productions
First 3 albums for all. Some of their latter work is negotiable. -
I feel like this is a new way to rank your top 5 but ill play

No waves crashed harder than the movements i mentioned above
Dj screw is godfather of texas music, car, black culture. It all starts and end with DJ screw in my state
Wu tang started east coast revival in 93. If it wasnt for wu NY still be rapping like fu schnickens. 1991-1992 was a stale year for east coast rap. Most classic albums come from other regions during those years. In 93 wu changed game forever with fresh new sound
Dipset is ultimate new age movement. Cam is the GOAT for taking an entire borough and putting it on his back making it a worldwide movement. Dipset was stronger, deeper than the roc. Dipset broke the mold by putting out mixtapes constantly and dvds. The splinter groups, the slang and comedy, the diversity and dipset lifestyle was different and better than row, roc, etc -

The main reason I created this thread was to put on to artists disographies that I never checked out. From what I see everyone has a different list which is great because we all like what we like.
