    Then of course I copped Chopper City in the Ghetto, the first Cash Money album I ever heard. My cousins loved B.G., then one of em brought this tape to my house we was bangin' out to Goldeneye 007 on N64 lol.     I heard this album right after Chopper City in the Ghetto. It was then that I realized the whole sound was just new and different. I just didn't hear no ? like this outta the East Coast which was where most of our music came from. Fresh was a just a mad scientist back then.

    @thagreat45 appreciate those drops man. I think its dope as hell that you're from N.Y. and have an appreciation for old Cash Money albums. You pretty much have a lock on BG, Wayne, Juve, Hot Boys and Big Tymers. That's what we grew up on.
    Since you're a fan of Mannie, there is one album that I'd recommend. Check out UNLV album Uptown 4 Life. This was a group that put Cash Money on the map regionally.
    BG was the bridge from coming up under that group to when UNLV left. That's when Juve and Turk came on.
    Give it a listen though. Mannie was masterful on that album. That album also introduced us to Ziggly Wiggly with his skits.

    Even after he left Cash Money I always wondered why he wasn't sought after a lot. Yeah you mentioned TI and Jeezy and he did a little with Ross, Slim Thug, ? C, and Bun B. Mystikal had them Mannie tracks just there for him when he got out and didn't capitalize off it. I feel like he deserved better.
