I used to say he is better than Kendrick then he released these days and that other trash then I realised it was a one off -

Sing about me is one of the greatest hip hop songs of all time imo.
Kdot has always been a tad bit overrated to me but he has really good bodies of work and some songs in his catalog are so good that you have to give him a goat nod even though you feel like you shouldn't.
Every album he has at least two songs where I said " this dude is upper echelon" -

The fact that he found a way to merge that with another classic joint "dying of thirst" was genius.
"Dying of thirst" is a beautiful rap song. That beat is haunting and the structure was simple but brilliant. Song sounds like it has no hook and he just spitting, but it flows so well. This album has so many great songs is hard to pick a favorite, ? I picked 3 different ones since the thread started. Shootout to "swimming pools" took me like 3 listens to notice it was an anti-drinking song, very smart approach. K.dot def put the medicine in the candy w that one -
Yea. This def the best album of the decade so far. The fact that it was a concept album puts it above the rest.
