Crazy how much the game done changed since those rap city days and not for the better either. Too much ? is acceptable nowadays
I hate sounding like an old head. But it just feels like dudes really had to have some sort of lyrical and rapping skills back in the basement days.
Believe it or not I like some of the mumble rap stuff, but at the same time I don't really consider it my preferred style of " rap". But that's just me. That bad n boogie song dope as hell, but I can't take that lil uzi vert verse serious. If that was my song I woulda been like "nah dog, you gotta redo that or we just gonna put our 3rd amigo on this jawn heeea Patna" -

I appreciate that he's going off the top, but written rhymes are better because they have well thought out punchlines. Its difficult to hit somebody over the head with a punchline when you're flowing off the top.
