Russell on his way to being a 6th man unless he learn to defend

The nets play better when Dinwiddie run the team

Lakers play better with Lonzo on the floor. He 8 games into a career. He'll figure out how to be more assertive and pick his spots. Lonzo kind of coasting and not even playing his game at this point.

*scrambles for way to defend lonzo*

How about this. He had the best +/- of any player that touched the floor.

Kuzma the truth. We going disagree on Zo. He ain't doing stuff that effect the stat sheet yet but the offense run smoother when he out there, they compete better. He make mistakes on defense a lot but Clarkson just awful on defense

If you watched him at UCLA, he not even playing with confidence right now. He defer to the vets too much right now and especially Ingram(who I like). Theres stuff he gotta figure out offensively but that's gym work and he ain't the most athletic but he 6'5 so he'll get to his spots

Im not saying Brandon Ingram is good or will ever really be good, but I will say he has improved a lot from last year. Still not a good player though, but I think hes improved enough to earn another year and hope that his improvement continues. It takes some players longer.

Lakers fan can talk about his work ethic and if they know if he puts in work to get better though. Idk enough about him to know all that.

All jokes aside it's early. He does a few things good but I don't see him being anything more than over hyped role player like rondo.

The fact he can't shoot going right already getting exposed too

Jimmy butler is a negative on defense this year. He's never been a negative on defense in his career

That shows you how bad the t wolves(towns) defense is

Ball will be ok. In the off season he needs to develop that floater/push shot. At 6'6 he'll easily get that shot off.

The concerns about his jumper and finishing at the rim will remain this year

Lonzo at some point is gonna have to change his shooting mechanics. Gonna be tough, but the sooner he does is the better, and hopefully he can be an average shooter by his 4-5th season.

Im not worried about Lonzo though. Not only is he 19, but his body is still that of a kids. Hes gonna take some time growing into his body and getting stronger but the potential is there.

It just might take longer than everyone expected.

Grant quietly taking Robertson minutes on OKC. he can switch everything on D and cant be ignored on offense. shooting mid 30s from 3pt.

im not surprised by lonzo passiveness

its part of the pass first players nature

for better or worse thats just part of the package

hell look at lebron as physically dominating as he can be he still reverts back to his passiveness entirely too much -- lonzo is playing the game the way he knows and more specifically the way his current skill set allows — hopefully he will increase his aggressiveness as he adds more tools to the toolbox — until then hes gonna have games like this and you just have to hope the rest of the team can pick up the slack

Espn with the slick shots in every Cavs article

"With no Irving, and James surrounded by an aging cast of complementary players from Dwyane Wade (35), Jeff Green (31), JR Smith (32), Kyle Korver(36) to Derrick Rose (29, but with an injury history of someone twice his age), the opposition hasn't treated the Cavs with the type of reverence you'd expect a team with Cleveland's credentials to receive."

"With a matchup with the Washington Wizards looming Friday (7 p.m. ET, ESPN), Wade says the 2017-18 Cavs have a mix of new blood (albeit old bodies) that the 2013-14 Heat was missing."

And why Wade sounding so shook

"Ain't nobody afraid," Wade said. "Teams come in here to whip our butt and they're whipping our butt. One thing I did notice at Miami, teams were afraid of us a little bit. Ain't nobody afraid."

If derrick rose gets hurt at all lebron might just forfeit the season

Him and to a lesser extent Jeff green have been the only bright spots

D rose been playing good. But he can't space the floor.

Jeff Green will get his usual dunk but he has been inconsistent as always and not being aggressive defensively

    Thinking bout gambling tonight

Russell will probably go off against the Lakers right. His over under is at 20.5
