Meets the business mind of Motown's Berry Gordy
Turned ? rock into a chain of 40/40's
Sorry my jewelry’s so gaudy
Slid into the party with my new pair of Mauris
America, meet the gangster Shawn Corey
Hey young world, wanna hear a story?
Close your eyes and you can pretend you're me
So mean and vicious
I catch myself rappin this everynow and then -
Survive the drought, I wish you well!

Same here. They're usually the first lyrics I go to when someone says spit some Jay at work

Let ya hair down baby, I just hit a score
Pick any place on the planet, pick a shore
Take what the Forbes figure, then figure more
Cause they forgot to account what I did with the raw
Pick a time, lets pick apart some stores
Pick a weekend for freaking for figure fours
I figure frauds never hit a lick before
So they don't know the feeling when them things get across
Put ya hand out the window, feel the force
Feel the Porsche, hit the frost
Ice cold, jewels got no flaws
Drop got no top, you on the top floor
Pink Rosay, think OJ
I get away with murder when I sling yay
? got less steps then Britney
That means it ain't stepped on, dig me?
The way he was rhyming on this verse with the multi's.

My favorite album from Hov

Ag a classic but you can't be serious. -
DOPE ALBUM. I LIKED PUFF'S CINEMATIC LIFE AFTER DEATH APPROACH TO THE ALBUM. LYRICS WERE ON-POINT.
BUT THERE'S QUITE A FEW DUDS ON THIS & SONGS I WOULD NEVER PLAY IN 2017. I REVISITED THIS JOINT RECENTLY & I DIDN'T ENJOY THIS AS MUCH AS I DID 10 YEARS AGO.
OVERALL...ITS STILL A SOLID 4.0/5.0 -
Falling is too cold
Godfather, Goodfellas, Scarface, Casino
You seen what that last run did to De Niro
And he can't beat the odds, can't cheat the cards
Can't blow to hard, life's a deck of cards
Now you tumblin', it's humblin', you fallin', you mumblin'
Under your breath like you knew this day was comin', fallin'
Now let's pray that arm candy
That you left your ex for stay down and come in handy
'Cause come January it gets cold
When the letters start to slow, when your commissary's low
And lawyers screams appeal only thinkin' about a bill
And your chances are nil damn gravity's ill

All sings i can't listen to on the black album anymore -
Great album and was refreshing AF since his previous release was Kingdom Come.
But then he went and did Blueprint 3 and Watch the Throne...
But then he came back with 4:44!
I wonder what he'll do next. -
Couldnt find just the song on youtube, but this song was one of the best Jay songs ive heard in forever

He was spitting on WTT
but I don't think project was what people wanted or expected from a Jay/Ye album -
Great (concept) album.
Party Life and Say Hello were/are my ? !!
Those and hello Brooklyn were the 3 gems on this album but this album was overall dope. -

We ain't thugs for the sake of just being thugs
Nobody do that where we grew at ? , duh
The poverty line we not above
So I come with mask and glove cause we aint feelin the love
We ain't doin crime for the sake of doin crime
We movin dimes cause we ain't doin fine
One out of three of us is locked up doin time
You know what that type of ? could do to a ? mind
Such a classic album to me. -
Last album Jay had his flow throughout.
