pure speculation by me but i think niko called bobby a ?
bulls management witnessed the incident and knows the full story better than anyone else besides the team — the fact bobby was allowed to practice with the team tells you how much at fault they really feel he was — clearly not a danger to his other teammates — now it doesnt help that niko is said to be ignoring his teammates calls but reading between the lines the bulls do seem to be offering a lot more support to portis than mirotic

the reports were niko charged bobby twice after exchanging words up and down the court before a punch was thrown

what was said/done leading to it hanst come out and probably never will (theres been speculation something has been brewing between the two the last 3 years)

I think you trade Niko. Mitotic ain't good enough 2 be making Portis or Niko must go trade ultimatums. They just gave Niko 28 million, he ain't who we thought he was when he first arrived, he is who he is. move on from Niko. They said this Niko vs. Bobby ? be going on for a few years in practice
It's really time to move on from Hoiberg & HoiBall, Paxson/Foreman. He can't control his locker room, he's bad at in game adjustments, and he always got the look of a dude who'd rather be anywhere else in the world than Coaching the Bulls -
