His priority is fighting someone he already beat instead of unifying the title and becoming the undisputed best of his weightclass. He was ralking spence wasnt ready years ago, now spence has a titles its i wanna fight porter or garcia 2 guys he already beat. U right he is a fighter he aint scared but he definitely doesnt want to fight spence . All his interviews lately he always dismisses spence. Thurman knows fighting spence is bad for his career.

Stephen Espinoza, the head of Showtime Sports, rejected the circulating rumors that former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather J.r (50-0, 27 KOs), 40 years old, was seriously considering the possibility of returning for fight "51."
A report, which originated on TMZ, claimed Mayweather was in deep training for a possible return and telling several close friends that he was looking to fight again.
According to the report, Mayweather was mulling the idea of a rematch with UFC superstar Conor McGregor.
Mayweather retired back in 2015 after dominating former welterweight world champion Andre Berto over twelve rounds at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
In a very surprising move, Mayweather announced his return to the ring earlier this year - for a fight with McGregor, who would make his professional debut as a boxer. They fought at the junior middleweight limit of 154-pounds and used eight ounce gloves.
Their fight generated a lot of controversy which only fueled the headlines.
The contest, carried by Showtime Pay-Per-View, took place in August at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena. McGregor started well in the fight, but faded as the contest progressed and was eventually stopped in the tenth round.
There was huge business from that fight, with over 4 million pay-per-view purchases. And Mayweather made well over a $100 million.
After that victory Mayweather once again announced his retirement from boxing and promised to never fight again.
But, Mayweather has posted several training videos in recent weeks to social media - which quickly created rumors of a comeback.
When TMZ spoke to Espinoza, he rejected the Mayweather comeback chatter and said he's heard absolutely nothing about Mayweather considering another fight or a rematch with McGregor.
“I don't think so. You know, Floyd seems pretty happy retired. I don't think we'll see him in the ring again. And it seems like the UFC really wants McGregor back in the cage," Espinoza said.
“Floyd, it's Floyd's call at some point, but I haven't heard anything from him that makes it seem like he's thinking about McGregor or anything else.” -
