Dave Meltzer revealed in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Sheamus is dealing with a significant injury which actually forced WWE Hall of Famers Edge and Steve Austin to retire:
Meltzer wrote, "While they said Sheamus was out of action last week because he was on a trip back to Ireland, he’s actually rehabbing spinal stenosis, which is not a good thing at all. Spinal stenosis ended the careers of Edge and Steve Austin" -

I just realized Jeff has been wrestling as a non lower card wrestler in TNA almost longer if not longer than in WWE. That ? is crazy to me.

Sheamus has had a couple dope years tho, he just was sooooooooooo corny as a face that the next time he was heel champ it was auto trash

I've only likes heel Sheamus. It was his best work. This run with Cesaro was great, too. It seemed like an odd paring but it worked out great. He had a good end to his career if this ends up being bad news.
