It'll affect their constituents too, definitely a bipartisan issue. -
? is sad man. This country beyond corrupt
-
man and i was just about to get the net at the spot. welp i gotta wait til this ? cause i aint paying 50 bucks just to get slow internet
-
The two women are the Democratic Comissioners and the men are the Republicans. A 3-2 vote, this ? will pass. What happens after is up to Congress and how loud we the people get.
they look like theyre waiting for the purge.. -
How does net neutrality affect companies? Netflix, Twitter, FB - all have heavy traffic from the US. Once this packaging ? happens, doesn't it ? their traffic and therefore ? revenue? Seems like it would ? the internet.

Yes it will.
Net Neutrality prevents companies from showing favoritism to partners and thus keeps costs down and keeps traffic open.
If the law is repealed then some ? companies can slow your Netflix or YouTube load time because they don't have deals with them.
Essentially, it allows big Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to bully other sites and consumers into paying more money for faster load times. -
Then why are the companies not against this?

Quite a few of them are. It's that the bigger ISPs have more say in the process. -
gonna end up with huge ass conglomerates, and be getting ? left and right

I don't know about others, but I think Netflix already has something worked out with the ISPs. They also recently raised their prices (suspicious)
The thing about throttling is it doesn't always ? your download/access to a site.
For example, Comcast might be selling its customers a 100 Mb per sec connection, but cap it at 10 Mbps when streaming from netflix. It's far from the 100 Mbps they are advertising but still fast enough to watch a Netflix movie.
Problem starts when they start throttling small stream/video upload sites like Openload to dial up speeds because they don't have the power to work out any deals with these huge ISP's -
This will be a long battle. Nothing is passing regardless of the vote. Many Court appearances will happen and this may go into the next presidential administration. Keep putting pressure on the officials to oppose this ? .

i emailed all of them (even the anti-christ in the middle) explaining the importance of net neutrality and why it should stay. mignon clyburn (the sista) responded saying “I will do everything in my power to ensure the internet remains a platform for innovation and free expression.”
we’ll see -
? up thing is once it gets in their heads to repeal this ? theyll never give up. It might get pushed back or delayed but theyre gonna keep coming back every so often to try n repeal it until they finally get what they want.
So even if the repeal fails 6 months from now we probably have to deal with this again. Unless it depends on change of administration?? -

I don't know why there isn't a law in place protecting me neutrality already. A law needs to be cemented to stop any more repeals. I just learned this ? tried this 10 years ago. -
As long as I can still get porn and movies they can do whatever.
-
Yall better start archiving information from any site that you frequent that specializes in "alternative news".
This is a covert form of censorship on the low. -
-
Has this ? started already? I can’t like any pics on the Instagram and it’s not even the half naked women I’m usually liking.
Never mind. It’s good now -
Big Companies like Apple / Amazon/ Netflix / Facebook do not want Net Neutrality abolished.
? companies like Comcast and At&T do want to see an end to Net Neutrality.
I gotta get rid of my COMCAST.... My hatred for Comcast and Trump are just about on the same playing level. -

That was a "canned" response. -

I'm listening to people speak right now on the washington post website.
Some lady was just against it some dude is talking now and he seems in favor of net neutrality -
Damn security just stopped the man from talking and is clearing the room.
They said everybody in the room needs to leave everything in room just your body is allowed to leave the room. Even told cameramen that they need to drop their cameras and leave the room.
Wonder WTF is going on!!! -
They just cut the camera feed
