These drums and hard snares bring out the worst in me
Like Justin Ross Harris at a nursery
Goin' ham at candy yam on nanny cam
I'm gettin' handys with the [?], Xannys in the Caddy armrest
I'm imagining objects, so I'm batting cobwebs
From a daddy longleg
And Hamtramck, got the panoramic camera
Xanax, a banana hammock and a Santa hat
I'm smellin' like a damn mechanic
With a chick that looks like Janet Jackson with a Spanish accent
Twice your age and I'm actin' half it
Grow up? Nah
Not that I know of, y'all
Basement just got a frickin' overhaul, got a stripper pole installed
Started rollin' all through those Kolonopins like a bowlin' ball
Like an overdose on twice the ratio of Propofol and go through no withdrawal
While I get ? and give a ? to an interracial blow-up doll and Rachel Dolezal
You're so appalled, so's my manager (Em)
? I'm amateur, ? a pro career
Coast is clear, but nowhere to go from here
And nobody's close, so don't compare
They ain't nowhere near, I'm way over here
My competition can't see me
'Cause I don't own a mirror
But Marshall, you are terrific, so smart and gifted
I'm so narcissistic, when I ? , I sniff it
Do a fake dab to smell my armpits with it
Your anxiety's throwin' gang signs
But I made strides with these ? lines
I'm cuttin' back on women hate crimes
Like Ray Rice when he FaceTimes
Bang, bang, bang, bang time
Dang knives to butcher them ? wives
You couldn't eat citrus the same size
As the blade I push into [?] when I...
Pull 'em like... sleigh rides
Gotta stab a ? at least eight times
To make it on Dateline
I came to stake my claim like a canine
Waitin' in a buffet line
So Kellyanne Conway, I'm a really bad hombre
Come play, belly dance on me
I've been making wedding plans all day
1st bold: THEN WHY THA ? DIDN'T YOU CHOOSE THESE TYPES OF BEATS FOR EVERY TRACK!?
2nd bold: ? dope bars but again who gonna's listen when 75% of the beats are trash (not this track, mind yall, but I digress)
The Pink song isn't terrible, mercifully it's short. In your head is cool, as is Castle. 7 or 8 out of 19 is still sad though. That ? needs to go make that fake 2nd disc a reality. -
Jeezy might have the better album on the 15th
-
I still can't get over that heat hook.
? sounds like a Blink182 reference track. -

His latest album was solid Its better than this ? . -

Would've been a good album had he gone a diff direction w the production and hooks

if you get it hit me with it lol i wanna ? on the album too

Im gonna listen to this just so I can ? on it.

My take away from this album after 2 playthroughs is it's only a handful of ? who can hang with em with rapping or out rap him period, but focusing too much on that ? , rapping over trash ass beats and having ? guest makes me give this album a 2/10 and 2 is only for the two songs i like.
-
Idk if Rick Rubin had anythin to do with Heat but ? him off GP.

This ? @LcnsdbyROYALTY giving us a play by play commentary review and ? but NO LANK..
Scust. Pure Scust.

i completely disagree lol Em isn't anything to fear on the mic in my ears. he'd get washed by real mc's. I listened to that styles p and nino joint right after and there's no comparison styles would ? Em. just my opinion. Em far from wack but i'd be more worried about big sean... lol that might be a stretch but i heard better verses on that sean and metro joint.
As for the lp i really was expecting some pure trash if put on Hiphop beats the lp might be dope. it felt like i was listening to logic. with all the producers in the game there's no way someone of em stature should've dropped a lp fully of tracks like that. but i'd give it a low 3 outta 5 maybe a 2.9 because of beats -
Tracklisting of Disc 2 was a cruel joke

To me Em going went down the same path as canibus. ? became all about lyrics after mic club, and the only dope song he put out after that was poet laureate. -
He just a rappity rap ? now. It would be ok if he had better beat selection.

lol I havnt heard it yet. I was headed to the gym when @eyerone hit me with the link, was takin too long to download but told me to not play it while workin out if it worked lmao..... I seen the instant reviews and it reminded of me how I felt when I seen the tracklist so Ill peep it at some point tomorrow ready to be disappointed and come back with a review. -
Found this review lolWow, that was tough, listened to it front to back, had to take breaks every couple songs cause it really was a chore getting through this, the last 12 seconds of the album are the sounds of a toilet flushing, can only assume thats a subliminal aimed at the listeners. Heres a quick break down of the album
1-walk on water:no beat to rank, lyrics are Em complaining about people complaining about him.
2-believe:beat is tolerable, better suited for someone else, em bites the "new rap" flow and asks in a most cringe worthy manner if the consuming public still believes, general consensus is they do not.
3-chloraseptic:probably the most tolerable song on the album, but not very good, Em experiments with his Big Sean/Drake flows over a beat that blends Gucci mane trap drums and Diplomats esque operatics
4-Untouchable:Em speaking up for the plight of young black males in America over a beat that most certainly alienates most residents of any urban environment.
5-River:Em rapping about male/female dynamics over pop beat with pop hook.
6/7 Remind me:Em rapping about male/female dynamics over rock track with rock hook.
8-Revival interlude:A clip from a Florence & The Machine album or something, i dunno.
9-Like Home:Love song for 'merica, softer than a chinchilla rabbit hybrid.
10-Bad Husband:Em rapping about the married male/female dynamics over a folk-hop beat with a folk-rock chorus.
11-Tragic Endings:Em rapping about more male/female dynamics over a wack beat with a chorus by Skylar Grey that is anything but hip hop
12-Framed:Em back on his Slim Shady killin broads ? , out of place on this album, beat sounds like a leftover from Cypress Hills 4th album. Nothing special but I imagine the Stanley's will regard this as the standout record.
13-Nowhere Fast:Weird combination of Em rapping about social issues and also how he can't be faded on the mic. Beat is trash, conceptually the song lives up to its title
14-Heat:terrible bars abundant over another awful rock track.
15-Offended:Beat sounds unfinished, at one point Em raps the childrens song "nobody likes me, everybody hates me, matter as well go eat worms" perhaps that would be time better spent for him. He's on his Slim Shady steez here, again, seems out of place in relation to this body of work.
16-Need Me:Another relationship with problems song over a very un-hip hop beat, but this one has Pink singing for the first 2 minutes of it.
17-In Your Head:Sad sack rappin over rock samples.
18-Castle:Daddy daughter dedication over a tolerable beat and a tolerable hook. Maybe the most tolerable selection on the album and also offers some hope in that Em raps this is his last album, although, sadly I fear that wont be the case.
19-Arose:Em eulogizes himself, mourns Proof and has a living funeral for himself. Beat is garbage. Album closes with church organs and a toilet flushing. Symbolizing his career dying and the substance of what may be his final effort. Appropriate.
Overall 0.75/10

What the fck is this wackness??? I had hopes for a throwback album, I feel like his flow just makes every verse/song sound the same...
I think it sounds so much like a pop album its crazy thinking back to the old Em...
Dont think I will give it a second listen, but after the first listen:
1. Walker on Water *ehh not feeling it really*
2. Believe *not bad, clever lyrics still bit boring though, plus sounds like hes using the new rapper flow at times ended up skipping*
3. Chloraseptic *nah, skipped that wack schitt*
4. Untouchable *think its ok*
5. River *boring, it sounds too much like a pop song, skipped*
6. Remind Me *actually thought it was OK, ended up skipping it though*
7. Like Home *AT LAST, a song I can listen too, not bad*
8. Bad Husband *dont like the beat or the chorus, the spitting is ok though, had to skip in the end though*
9. Tragic *think it sounds the same and same old subject matter, skipped*
10. Framed *skipped, at least it sounds different though, got it up there with the better songs of the album*
11. Nowhere *pop sounding AGAIN, these choruses and verses just sound the same, skipped*
12. Heat *sounds different, not bad... I like the old skool feel to it, close to skipping but the beat keeps me listening... edit ended up skipping*
13. Offended *AT LAST, another decent song, dope skills, still the flow is still pretty repetitive though, ended up skipping in the end*
14. Need Me *same sounding pop chorus again, verse was ok but just ends up boring me to press skip, especially when the chorus kicks in*
15. In Your Head *yeah feeling this tune, like the beat and verse is dope*
16. Castle *wow, two dope songs in a row, yeah like this tune too*
17. Arose *another decent tune, thought it was a clever ending and the last 3 tracks were dope*
So overall I really felt 3 tracks overall, I think tracks 15, 16, 17 are the only songs I wanna hear more than once, at least it finished on a high note, about the only positive to take out of it... -

I still think he leaked it on purpose to get people in their feelings saying he fell off.
Then on friday he'll release the real album.
Would've been one of the greatest twists in hip hop tho
