Finally got around to it.....LOL not as bad as I expected, probably cause yall ? overreact to everything, literally. I don't think it's as bad as the 2nd half of Encore, yall wildin. Dude can still rap his ass off, he's just extra white now, has no ear for beats and has no direction. Album is meh after 1st listen.

This is why I can not put Eminem in the same tier as Nas or Jay Z these two are light years ahead of Eminem when it comes to crafting a mature album . -

You're not alone in liking it. I thought Relapse was good. Especially Refill. That's the thing though. Good and decent aren't really the same thing. -
This is better than MM2 but overall I know that aint saying much

I have to say Eminem's best albums is The Eminem Show, MMLP, & Recovery. His decline really started to show with MMLP2. He ? up Encore with those comedic rap tracks like "Big ? " & "Rain Man". Relapse had dope ass beats but decided he wanted to rap in accents on 90% of the tracks.Eminem has an up and down discography.

Yes, Em has a very up & down discography and that can be said for a lot of other legends in the game like Snoop, Jay-Z, & Nas. Different story, different artists so we'll stick to Eminem. You're right about the ratings of his discography and tbh, Em should be sitting on 3 classics instead of 2. What makes Encore a disappointment to me is he went crazy with the commercial MTV joints on the 2nd half of w/ "Ass Like That", "Big ? ", & "Rain Man" etc... Encore could have been like where The Eminem Show left off if he would have replaced those tracks on there.

I actually liked Rain Man. I have very tasteless humor and ? jokes make me laugh and Dre's beat was fire. Big ? was pure doo doo grits though. -
As far as Revival goes, I've listened through the album a few times already and I'll say this much Revival >>> MMLP2. Em sounds a step or two off but after being in the game almost 20 yrs a decline is bound to happen sooner or later. It was cool hearing him speak out on Trump (he already freestyle that) & the events racism towards blacks in the country. (Even though he probably lost some of his fan base).
Kinda cool he ain't on that "middle school kiddle ? " on Revival like he was in his prime.

He got zero classics imo. I wouldn't argue against MMLP, but I'd vote against it. Eminem Show is just a good album -
This is the first time I really feel like he should retire..
I am in the minority that enjoyed mmlp2...Recovery wasn't all that but it wasn't atrocious
But this album even my fav few tracks are good at best unlike his other albums where his best tracks are great -
