Sarah Palin's oldest son, Track, arrested on domestic violence charges

Track Palin, the oldest son of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, was arrested Saturday in Alaska on charges of domestic violence. It marks the second time he’s been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in two years.

The charges seem to stem from an incident in his family’s hometown of Wasilla, though further details about what happened were not immediately available.

Palin, 28, was arraigned Sunday morning on three counts: felony burglary, misdemeanor reckless assault and misdemeanor criminal mischief for causing up to $500 in property damage, according to online court records. Each of the charges was related to domestic violence.

The felony burglary charge indicates Palin is accused of hurting or attempting to hurt someone while committing burglary.

Local police and prosecutors did not respond to messages seeking more information Sunday.

No attorney was listed for Palin on the court docket, and no details were given about his bond status. He remained held at the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer, Alaska, as of Sunday afternoon.

Representatives for the Palin family could not be immediately reached for comment.

Palin was also arrested in 2016 on domestic violence-related charges. He was suspected of punching his girlfriend, who then became concerned that Palin was going to shoot himself with a rifle, according to court records.

He took a plea deal that resulted in some of the charges being dismissed, and he pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. His girlfriend later filed for custody of their child, and in January she requested a protective order against Palin.

Sarah Palin ran for vice president on the Republican ticket with Sen. John McCain of Arizona in 2008, losing to the Democratic ticket of Sens. Barack Obama and Joe Biden. She has since been a television personality and conservative political speaker, and has a strong following among tea party Republicans.

During a January 2016 rally in support of President Trump, Sarah Palin suggested Track’s problems stemmed from post-traumatic stress disorder he developed after a military deployment in Iraq.

“I can certainly relate with other families who feel these ramifications of some PTSD and some of the woundedness that our soldiers do return with,” the former governor said at the time.

I don’t think the PTSD excuse is work for a second time…

Track Palin, the troubled son of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, beat up his father at their family home after they got into an argument about a truck on Saturday night, according to court records.

The records, obtained by the Anchorage Daily News, say Track Palin was "freaking out" on "some type of medication" when cops showed up at the Palin family home in Wasilla around 8:30 p.m.

The Palin son had become enraged after his father, Todd Palin, told him he couldn't take the family truck because he had been drinking and taking pain medication, according to police.

"Track told him he was (going to) come anyway to beat his a--," states an affidavit filed by one of the arresting officers.

After getting off the phone with his son, Todd Palin told police that he got his pistol out to "protect his family."

But Track Palin caught his father by surprise when he broke through a window and managed to wrestle him to the ground. Palin then began hitting his father repeatedly in the head, according to records.

Todd Palin managed to escape his son's grip and bolted from the house with blood running down his face, according to cops. Meanwhile, his wife, Sarah Palin, called police.

Track Palin was slammed with several charges, including felony first-degree burglary, misdemeanor criminal mischief and fourth-degree assault, and remained in custody as of Monday morning.

This is not the Palin son's first run-in with the law.

Last year, Palin was arrested after drunkenly punching and kicking his ex-girlfriend before threatening to take his own life, according to a police report.

Sarah Palin, who ran a failed Republican White House bid with Sen. John McCain in 2008, has blamed her son's criminal behavior on post-traumatic stress disorder, which he supposedly contracted after his military deployment to Iraq.

May Track continue to beat the ? out of inbreds!

Track Palin left his father, Todd, bleeding after breaking into home, according to police report

At first it was described as “domestic violence.” Now, disturbing new details have emerged in the weekend arrest of Track Palin, a son of former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, including the allegation that he left his father, Todd, bloodied and bruised.

Police were called to the home Saturday night by Sarah Palin, where her husband was found to be bleeding from cuts on his head
, according to an affidavit by Wasilla Police Officer Adam LaPointe. Todd Palin told police the dispute began when his son, Track Palin, 28, called to retrieve his truck.

Palin, 53, said he told his son not to come over but was told that he would come anyway to “beat his ass,”
LaPointe wrote, according to the Anchorage Daily News. The elder Palin said he fetched a pistol to protect his family.

Track Palin told police he broke a window, disarmed his father and put him on the ground and hit him around the head, the newspaper reported.

LaPointe wrote that the senior Palins had left the home when police arrived and that Sarah Palin was visibly upset.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Sarah Palin called police at 8:30 p.m. and said her son was "freaking out and was on some type of medication."

Track Palin yelled at officers, calling them “peasants,” and “moved around in a strange manner” for about 15 or 20 minutes before being arrested without incident, the affidavit states. He said he had “consumed a few beers.”

He was arraigned Sunday and charged with felony first-degree burglary and misdemeanor fourth-degree assault. He was still jailed at Mat-Su Pretrial Facility as of Monday evening, according to the Times.

Court records did not immediately list an attorney for him, the paper reported. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing next week.

Todd Palin, reached by the Daily News, declined to comment about the incident, other than to say, "We're fine. We're fine."

On Sunday, the Palins' attorney, John Tiemessen, released a statement saying: "Given the nature of actions addressed last night by law enforcement and the charges involved, the Palins are unable to comment further. They ask that the family's privacy is respected during this challenging situation just as others dealing with a struggling family member would also request."

Damn.. He had his pops leaking...
