the person that secretly hates on you and all your accomplisments, and wishes for your downfall
or the person who sees you about to fall but wont warn you and watches the action unfold
and what if both of these people was your freinds and you just found out they are like this
so i guess its a two part question.

The second one will be the worse, that individual is more like a snake, even worse if it was a friend. Instead of that friend warning you, he/she just let it play out. That is foul move right there. -

They probably wouldn't be a friend for very long. -

The second one can have different reasons for choosing not informing you. other than malicious reasons. What if they don't inform because they feel you will not listen to their advice? What if they feel it's not their place? -
Isnt that the same thing? If that first person ever caught you slippin, they would become the second guy

The second just sounds like an opportunity arrived for the first. Same thing.
Bottom line, neither displays qualities of friendship.

The same ones that put you down might be the same one who lift you up. IDK. Folks and family will always do you wrong and a few will do you right. Whatever you can handle is what I suggest. As for me on that question........I'd take the second option on the one who watches and doesn't do nothing as being better than the person who hates you and wants to see you fall. I ain't gonna lie though, there some people I work with that I wouldn't mind seeing fall, but I still am cordial with them and don't let them know. I just don't hang out with em'.
