as much as I love UGK.....and that double disc....there is nothing on the album that can ? with the lyricism displayed on Silent Murder and Take It In Blood....but overall....It Was Written was 4/5....I Am was 3/5 and if you take the best songs from both albums that were release three years apart....no

Damn shots fired by t/s. I would pick UGK's double disc over any Nas album, even Illmatic. But I'm a huge UGK fan and can't stand Nas, so my opinion is not the most unbiased one. UGK's album contains several heaters like "? ", "Swishas & Doja", "Quit Hatin the South", "Like That", "Stop N' Go", and the timeless "Still Ridin ? ". Unlike most double rap albums, this one was a legitimate double disc. Meaning it was not one of these double albums that could have been a decent single album without all the filler tracks. Eventhough this was a good, solid album, as a long time UGK fan, I still wouldn't say it was as good as Super Tight or Ridin ? .

    So laughable. Not even close.
Maybe 6 good songs on that underwhelming UGK double disc in total.
You won't hear anybody saying that Underground Kingz album changed my life. Made me wanna rap or thats where I got my style from.

I'm curious as to how are UGK overatted? Even if I didn't like them, I don't think I would call them overrated. I respect your opinion, I just wonder why someone would think that. To me, Nas is the definition of overrated and I'm not just saying that because this post is about him. Also, I would think that Nas and Bun B are probably about the same age. I would guess that they're both in their late 30's.

? C is wack? ? C is "just as basic as Gucci Mane"? Please. And to all those that said UGK is overrated, I noticed none of you listed any examples to back up these frivolous claims. Please, enlighten me.
