Regarded as one of hip hops most talented DJ/Producers, DJ Premier resides out of Brooklyn, New York and has been in the game since 1984. He has a long and prolific list of beats for many of Hip Hop's greatest emcee's, but is particularly acclaimed for the work he did with the late, great, Guru as one half of Gang Starr. He has produced for Nas, Jay-Z, Bone Thugz N Harmony and more.

In 1994, he attributed beats to Nas' Illmatic as well as producing the classic album, Sun Rises in the East by Jeru the Damaja. Accrediting Marley Marl as his number one influence, DJ Premier is still active today producing for Blaq Poet's Tha Blaqprint; which was released in 2009 to excellent reviews.

The greatest producer in hip-hop only below Dr. Dre. And the only reason I put Dre above him is because he was able to refine his & the west coast sound numerous times while Premo's formula has never really changed. But with this recognizable formula he can do so much, it's unbelievable. I'm too lazy now to put up any YT's but he has never runt out of dope beats and I'm yet to hear a wack Premo beat.

I'm not the biggest Christina Aguilera fan but Preme did his thing on this one. I hate it when people say all his joints sound the same.
