SMH ? on here are blind if you don't see shes speaking the truth.

She said most rap is misogynistic and someone who's been listening to rap all my life I'd have to agree songs like "Be a father" and "Keep ya head up" would get no love now-a-days. Even the female rappers support this mindset that women especially black women are only sexual objects.

And don't get me that outsider ? cuz when cats like Professor Griff and Chuck D say stuff like this they get called old and irrelevant.

A "Hollywood" Star hating on Hip Hop?. Hollywood promotes all the same things she says is wrong with Hip Hop. But let me guess, "It's just a movie". She's the typical outsider. She hears a few rap songs and generalizes the whole genre. It's doubtful she's even listened to a rap album. LOL @ "? Music". Sad how uneducated she sounds. There are things far worst than Hip Hop when it comes to degrading women. Magazines, Television, Movies, Porn. Hip Hop should be last on the list.

What's the difference? It's a vastly popular song nationwide.

and i'm tired of rappers like Jayz trying to appeal to these OLD IGNORANT WHITE FOLK

    ? them

middle finger up, spit on the cam, thug style...

It'll always be "NIGG*R MUSIC" to them, regardless how much you try to humble or filter yourself...

they'll always see rappers us untalented people who cant sing

so i believe the music should not cater or lower itself so it is deemed as "safe", ? snoop, jayz, diddy and whoever else turned soft t be down with people who dont like the music

    thats why i luv'd nwa, ? simply did not give a ? ...

    um easy.

rap music promotes ideals that women are ? who are only worth ? . the music would make you think that a women has no purpose in life other than to ? and shake their ? .

    FACT.

"? culture" definitely isnt the right choice of words. but if she were to say "rap music is a culture fueled by language that is highly misogynstic and paints women to be worth nothing more than a piece of meat", id say shes spot on.

overall, rap music perpetuates some of the most unhealthy ? ever: over-indulgence in EVERYTHING (women, money, drugs & alcohol) with little to no regard or explanation of the consequences. lets face it, some of the most celebrated music in our culture is some HORRIBLE ? , content wise. but WE see the good in it.

to argue against this ? is silly.

LOL, Rock music does the same thing. Promotes Drugs, Sex and over-indulgence. Is Rock Music ? Culture? Exactly.

Yeah Diddy ? a lot of ? in the game.

    Luprape Fiasco

To be more serious though, certain negative ways of thinking and behaving have permeated the music through people who live or aspire to live that way, but hip hop isn't inherently that. So it's best to speak correctly. And ? is just a word being used as a hot button. She could have left it at misogynistic like it's usually done but that isn't disparaging enough to strike a chord w/ ? at this point.

Rock and Roll is one of the most sexist graphic forms of music

she's gonna act like Alice Cooper, Kiss, Marilyn Manson, Ozzy, etc... never made a career out of singing outrageous demonic ? , belitting all women, eating bats heads, killing people, ? , molesting...

but they always go for the easy targets i.e rap music.

This ? is a feminist so her ignorance comes as no surprise to me.

Violence and misogyny is simply a part of American culture. Hip Hop is nothing but just a form of expression so how can it be classified as negative? And of course the only hiphop ? that gets played on radio or shown on TV has to be something that can sell. But this just another case of them scapegoating black people for ? .....or should I say scapegoating black men since black women will mostly side with the feminist on this issue.

And so does many forms of art wither it be books, poetry and films. Hip Hop is always used as a scapegoat. Mostly cause it was made by Blacks. Rock music been degrading women way before a rap song was even made. Where do you think the term "Groupie" Came from? That name is really a Hoe who goes on tour with a musician. She's again typical, someone who doesn't listen to rap trying to define the whole culture. You cannot put Hip hop in a Box, it's way to broad. For every "All About You" there's a "Dear Momma". Music and Art in general are reflections of society. Don't be mad at Hip Hop, Be Mad at Society. We are in a society that doesn't value women.
