And so does many forms of art wither it be books, poetry and films. Hip Hop is always used as a scapegoat. Mostly cause it was made by Blacks. Rock music been degrading women way before a rap song was even made. Where do you think the term "Groupie" Came from? That name is really a Hoe who goes on tour with a musician. She's again typical, someone who doesn't listen to rap trying to define the whole culture. You cannot put Hip hop in a Box, it's way to broad. For every "All About You" there's a "Dear Momma". Music and Art in general are reflections of society. Don't be mad at Hip Hop, Be Mad at Society. We are in a society that doesn't value women.
That is very true. But to just act like rap music is the only criminal is criminal. So I guess we are going to back on the "I listened to that rap song thats why I shot those people" excuse. Damn shame. I used to like Ashley Judd but now she getting on the level of the white chick that started that ? on the movie Rosewood. She should stick to blaming her victim not the music.

The Fact she's a "Hollywood" Actress makes it worst. Does she realize the industry that made her known and rich does the same things that Hip Hop Does? Yet because it's a Movie or TV it's OK?, lol. Entertainment is Entertainment. You can't pick and choose 1 form and call the other one out.

Another thing. A "HOE" is a type of women. Just like when women call men "Dogs", that's a type of man. When a rapper talks about a "Hoe" he isn't talking about all women. When you see have naked women in a video, that's a type of women. Also go to any beach in America and world and women are half naked in bikini's. Look at magazine covers like HFM or Maxim, but it's in a rap video and it's a problem? Why do dudes think when a rapper is talking about "Hoes" he's talking about his mother and sister? All Women aren't righteous, there are bad women in society. It's Entertainment. Just like Porn, Just like movies, Just like Books, Just like any artform. People forever love to to blame the artist without looking at the real problem which is again society.

I guess the cat taking her goods was listening to NWA and thats why she blames our music. But being in Hollywood I would think she would know better. Mostly ALL of the actors and actress had to do sexual favors to meet this person or get in this movie. But she can be judgemental? She is not all that so I know she gave that ? up. So she shouldnt throw stones in a glass house.

To say it's ? culture might be a bit farfetched. but as far as the point of most hip hop being negative, which was probably the point she tried to convey, there may be some truth to that. and my response to would simply be: so the ? what? i also listen to death metal where not "most" but virtually "all" of the music is negative. with themes centering around mutililation, disembowlings, and graphic explanations of ? in detail. and its outright blatant so u dont have to assume if that's what the artist is promoting or not like in hip hop. and if somebody told me death metal is pretty much a violent and ? culture, i would not quibble with that assessment at all. but what my response would be is the same as before: so what? ok. do u want a fortune cookie?

This is funny, but not surprising.

    BTW...
Her mother, Naomi Judd, has publicly objected to many of Ashley's movies because they contain either profanity, nudity, sex, or violence.

    http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000171/bio#trivia

She had a scene in Natural Born Killers that didn't make the final cut.

Asley Judd also played in this movie, one of the most violent ever:

    220px-Heatposter.jpg

What's so different between this movie and a rapper talking about shooting someone up? It's all entertainment folks, time to move on. With that said, she did a great job in this flick, amazing movie, even though the movie was filled with tons of themes that rappers talk about in their songs:

"Know how to leave anything in 30 seconds when you feel the heat, come in and flee with the murder weapon" - NaS

Ashley Judd starred in the movie "Heat", a movie that promotes violence towards law enfocrcement and was the inspiration behind the North Hollywood Bank shoot-out that happened a year later.

Well, not his niece, but his step-granddaughter.

    Still, yuck.

File this under creepy: Morgan Freeman is reportedly going to marry his 27 year old step granddaughter E’Dena Hines. Everyone together now: C R E E P Y.

According to the National Enquirer, Morgan, 72, who divorced his wife last year, has been having a decade-long affair with Hines.

“Morgan has led her to believe that he wants to marry her,” a family insider told the tabloid. “Becoming Mrs. Morgan Freeman has been E’Dena’s goal,” revealed another family source.

Hines is the granddaughter of Morgan’s first wife, Jeanette Adair Bradshaw, whom he and his estranged second wife Myrna raised since she was a young child.

Hines has accompanied Freeman to numerous red carpet events but no one thought anything of it because she was being introduced as his granddaughter.

“It’s not technically ? , because they are not related by blood…[but] Morgan is trying desperately to keep his divorce out of open court so all the shameful facts won’t become public,” added the source.

It may not be ? , but it’s still pretty disturbing. He helped raise her since she was a little girl! That's just disgusting!!

A "Hollywood" Star hating on Hip Hop?. Hollywood promotes all the same things she says is wrong with Hip Hop. But let me guess, "It's just a movie". She's the typical outsider. She hears a few rap songs and generalizes the whole genre. It's doubtful she's even listened to a rap album. LOL @ "? Music". Sad how uneducated she sounds. There are things far worst than Hip Hop when it comes to degrading women. Magazines, Television, Movies, Porn. Hip Hop should be last on the list.

    True.

Along with Dustin Hoffman and Jerry Lee Lewis, and several others I'm too lazy to verify right now,

i was at work and couldnt take the time to gather up the actual qoutes and what not...at least the discussion has started...ps in regards to someone saying she is right...just remember what is on the radio is not the majority...its just what gets played...ask Common or any other rapper who is not practicing the tactics the mass media wants in order to brainwash people.
