What's wrong with it?

and it looks dull

Dove soap + plus a little baking soda will gently exfoliate
Pat your skin dry so you don't irritate it
Light weight moisturizer -

imma go do that now asap!!! thx -
Try a honey sugar scrub. Keeps skin soft and supple.
-
Also try a Vitamin C serum.
Before that, mix oatmeal and honey together and exfoliate. Oatmeal is especially good for sensitive skin. Honey is actually a great aid for skin and it helps retain moisture. It's also good for taking out the poison from bee stings and bug bites.
If you want something store bought you can start with "Morning Burst" In shower ? which "works with the steam of the shower" each morning. It does wake you up and leaves you feeling invigorated.
The Vitamin C serum boosts your skin instantly smoothing and leaves your skin radiant.
I also like doing a mini microdermabrasion every few days as the product suggests. I love it. It's a more intense, grainier exfoliant followed by a very light lotion to replenish all the moisture lost from the first step.
Regardless of age, moisturizing is everything along with lots of sleep. Sleep is what repairs your skin and keeps you looking fresh. -

It sounds like your skin may also be dehydrated since it looks dull. *shrugs* The honey will help hydrate it.
If you don't want it that coarse, grind it up or just leave it as is. -

My skin is really strange, it will be dry so ill moisturize then BOOM an hour later grease bunny (I use oil free stuff too smh) but if its greasy ill wash my face then BOOM dry tight skin.
I gotta jump thru hoops to please my skin....... -

well do you use face wash cause if so put some face wash in your palm and add a lil baking soda till it becomes creamy then massage it on your face

You might have combination skin which is a different battle in itself. Moisturizers for dry skin can be too heavy while those for oily may dry it out too much. Try switching your moisturizer if you don't already use one for combination skin.
Being that you are young, at this point replenishing your skin with lots of moisture is the most important.
Available in 2 delectable textures: Gel for normal to combination skin and cream for dry skin.
The gel is a lighter consistency. That works better for combination skin. -

It's a "depends on your skin type, genetics, lifestyle" thing. -

first get a ? ... your life will change. Find out what you need to use for your type of skin.
I used to only use Clinique products... but after I had my first ? , the lady told me you have to switch up your products or your skin becomes used to the same thing and they are not as effective. Made total sense. Kinda like with your hair products.
I now use Olay Regenerist serum twice a day under my moisturizer . My skin looks amazing
