    EA has today released several brand new screenshots of Battlefield 3.

    The new images show off some beautiful in-game screens of the engine in action and a lot of them feature explosions.

    There a few beautiful landscape shots that really show how good the new Frostbite engine is looking and this really could be the first time that Battlefield has actually taken on Call of Duty on a level playing field.

    Battlefield 3 will release November 4th for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

    Want to see how good the console versions are going to be. This is the first time they've moved away from PC, I think.

    Looks nice and pretty but once again the smoothness of the COD gameplay will continue to dominate. You can make it as pretty as you want but if the gameplay sucks then it don't matter.

    Are you referring to Battlefield? Or Battlefield: Bad Company? Because Battlefield 2 was the real deal and that dropped in 2005. That was the real Modern Warfare before COD:MW dropped in 2007.

    Oh my bad. I was talking about the last one they came out with. The Bad Company 2 I think it was. I haven't played the other but if it played like that then I don't want to. The mp was garbage to me.

    Bad Company is a spin-off series. Battlefield 3 will be the first one on consoles.

    They used to just let the gameplay speak for itself because its no doubt gonna be better than COD, guess they trying to break into that fanbase

    Are you referring the smooth gameplay like when your on a streak and drop a ? and they fall in to final stand, last stand or dead mans hand and and end your streak, yeah that smoothness is unparalleled in any shooter.
