Since clearly we going back and forth with the 90s 00s track for track, it shows that the music from the newer era can at least compete which is what t/s was saying in the first place. With that said we all know the 90s had more classics. Period.

I disagree, the 90's had so many classic albums that '00-'04 can't measure up with.
Ready To Die, Illmatic, Capital Punishment, Step Into The Arena, Hard To Earn, Cuban Linx, Muddy Waters, SouthenPlayalistic, Atliens, Aquemini, Business As Usual, Business Never Personal, Return Of Da Boom Bap, Reasonable Doubt, Enta Da Stage, Death Certificate, Amerikkka's Most Wanted, The Predator, Picture This, Vol. 1, The Diary, We Can't Be Stopped, Adrenaline Rush, Infamous, The Most Beautifulist Thing In This World, Chronic, ? , It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back, Dah Shinin, The Dude, Live & Let Die, Wanted: Dead Or Alive, One For All, The Score, Makaveli, Me Against The World, Iron Man, Shell Shocked, Life Or Death, Niggas4Life, Taste Of Chocolate, Power, Mama Said Knock You Out, It's Dark & Hell Is Hot, Doe Or Die, Liquid Swords, 36 Chambers, Forever, Hard To Hit, Untouchable, etc
Too many classics to name in the 90's. 00's had some good material, but can't compare to the 90's IMO. -
If we was just comparing 00s R&B with 90s..I don't thk early 00s R&B can compete with the 90s doggie...I mean there were classics in the early 00s but shiet....u know the 90s R&B is what got all these damn babies poppin out....
-
threadstarter has got a point tho....early 2000s had a lotta bangers.
