chill ny ? , i know it wasn't "real hip hop", but was it good commerical music that got you hype? or was it all around garbage? and would you say it led to the "fall" of rap?

Hip hop needs that type of ? every few years. Even if it doesn't stay relevant, it's never a bad thing. A new sub-genre of music sprang up and entertained people. ? were eating. How it that a bad thing?
