    AEOM did 5 mil up till he died. Me against the world, 1st artist in jail have an album debut at number 1. So Pac didnt go plat while alive? Lol. U comparing 2 diff time periods. Even Nelly and Em sold more than 50

    You had to be there while he as alive to appreciate the impact he had. I copped All Eyez On Me a month after it was released, and everybody and they momma was jammin that ? . From 1994 until he died, 2pac was the hottest ? in hip hop. didnt hurt his publicity that he was always in the news. record sells dont matter, all that matters is 50 years from now, 2pac will still be getting play while a majority of the rappers from the past 10 years will be forgotten about.

    This sounds blasphemous, but really think back... he was that close to being the next Pac. 98-01, he had that ? on lock.

    EDIT: But when I think about it, Big and Pacs careers were shortened by death. So if X's career was cut short by his own troubles, do we judge him based on those 3 years? And if so, where does he stand?
