it was terrible overall. but message to the feds, street's disciple, thief's theme, just a moment, remember the times, and a few others were dope.

Nas need to stop being a ? cheapskate and go spend some money on good production, stop paying for them 2 for 1 Salaam Remi beats. Dude is ruining your career.

Probably thinking let me put something diverse together and not jump on what everyone else is doing. It's seems to be his MO. In fact he said so on this Album.

    ....and look at the turnout?

one of the corniest double LPs ever released. Smarten up, Nas...

Worst double album ever. ? said what so wack about it. You got ears? Well just listen to the ? , stupid. After buying this garbage and giving it a number of thorough listens, I knew Nas would never be the same. I was right. This was the start of his massive downhill spiral.

Only songs I kept off that ? album is "Live Now" and instead of "Just a Moment", I downloaded the remix instead and put it on my ipod....for a emcee of Nas' caliber, SD is an embarrassment yet ? knock "Nastradamus"? LMAO! and co-sign Who Cares, after he released that rubbish, everything since then has been a downward spiral

I disagree. But what's an artists like Nas to do? The bar is set very high for that dude.

The best running backs don't go out and give their teams 200 yards and 4 TD's every outting. A consistent 100 yards and a touchdown equals elite and HOF. Nas has done this with each of his releases. SD is certainly a 100 yards and a touchdown if, not 3 or 4.

I'm not trying to change your opinion on SD. You are certainly entitled to it. However, I think your opinion is overly harsh. I think the T/S put together a great thread and shows Nas as an emecee didn't lose a step lyrically on this album. I will agree it wasn't as cohesive as other efforts but no emcee, artists, singer, song writer is perfect on each release.

Irv Gotti was right, Nas on the ignorant ? >>>> Nas on that preachy, back to Africa ? ....

there's nothing wrong with trying something new or being creative, but when it comes to SD, Nas failed on all cylinders

That's Irv's opinion and yours apparently. From what I know of Irv that's the type of ? he on and that's cool. But I prefer the, One Love, Poison, Black Girl Lost, Reasons, I know can, tribal wars Nas to the ignorant Nas. But keep it 100 that's what makes Nas fresh. He can flip it how he likes.

This was a good album. If it was less tracks it would be a great album just like any other double disc.

disagree with that, i thought he came back strong with hhid, untitled was a great album, distant relatives was a classic IMO, and hes been killing features and unreleased tracks since

i can understand when people might say its "wack" or "mediocre"..
but i dont think it is at all.. you honestly have to have a mature state of mind to listen to it..

i dont have any kids at all but i feel what hes sayin on "Me & you (dedicated to destiny) was a great song..
