wale is lame. a lot of whips ? please he cant even get his label to promote his frequently forgotten album. the album is borderline emo mixed with mirror thug and desperate guy who cant get laid. he's garbage. below average lyricist. weak flow. garbage flow in fact. he cant ride a beat. you dont belong in hip hop if you cant even control your voice on a track and thats his main fault. tired ass fake backpack cypherin subjects on the album. he trying to teach ? ? that they should of learned in 5th grade. gtfoh.

I dont think dude is wack or boring. His album was actually good to me, very slept on. Out of the 14 tracks there is only 2 or 3 I dont really listen too.

He's not wack. His album is diverse in style and topics. I don't get how you can hate on his flow. Dude displays passion rarely seen in hp-hop, especially on the last track of his album. I think Wale made excellent debut and he's very skilled MC with varied topics, nice flow and good lyrics.

Everything is a cycle I dont think he's wack but I can see why his music wouldn't appeal to everybody.

Wale is far from wack but somebody was right when they said he gets no support in his own city...outside of Pretty Girls they never play any songs off his album...but he's not that mainstream at all...most of his album isn't ready made singles...he even had to fight Interscope to get that song "Shades" put on the album...his delivery can be weird at times but his album his a real good listen....he bodies tracks like Momma Told Me, World Tour, Mirrors

His last album was pretty good but had some old sounding beats on it. There were a handful standout tracks, it seems to be the production that holds him back if anything.

I can't say he's wack cuz he's had some good mixtapes. When it comes to his albums tho it just seems that its lacking either one thing or another. From production to engaging songs. Plus he just comes off as someone who tries too hard to come off as "real". I'll still rep for him since he's from the DMV but nothing about him makes me feel like he's gonna be known as a top MC. He has the potential to get it together, but from what I've seen since his last album I don't have my hopes up.

I liked his "gifted" album and that "white shoes" song. Seems like people don't like his personality. I personally don't need to like a ? personality I don't plan on kicking it w none of these dudes, if the music dope is dope. I don't care if they was a CO, kissed another man or date a porn star. If I like a song I'm rocking that ? cause I don't see rappers as my role models or heros. I don't like Game personality but that last album was my personal best album of 2015, people sometimes get to caught up in the other ?

The first time i ever heard him he was on the juan ep podcast. Everytime rosenburg asked him a question, Wale was like "yees." He did it so much that it started to get funny, then it turned epic."

I still wont listen to his music, but i like his interviews. just like 50. same deal.

All artist need to do some sort of reinventing/adjustments to have a shot at longevity...some call it confusion others call it adjusting to the times. If I'm not mistaken "no hands" was a "turn up" song n one of his biggest songs. Check all artist that have longevity in rap..they not spitting how they came in the game, the only one might be nas n he the exemption not the rule and even nas had to make "you owe me" to get in the club
