The majority of the world's most successful records don't have profanity and racial slurs forced into them to sell. If profanity is a crutch for your lyrical ability, that's your handicap.
But regardless of what rapper talks down on Will Smith, they're all walking in his shadow in some way or another. Often failing at it to boot.

I do remember him winning an award and in his short speech he said something like "I did it and didn't have to use profanity". But if thats wat eminem took offense to, thats ? .
