The NBA should take a loss monetarilly and go back to NBC imo and put games back on TBS also!

I understand Disney (ABC/ESPN) outbid NBC Universal for the NBA tv contract but i think the league should just take the L because having gaves on NBC/Turner would be better for the league in the long run. ESPN/ABC coverage of the NBA is ? terrible, there is no excitement to the ? at all, when NBC covered the games it felt like you were right on top of the players in the game (pause). Everything about ESPN is ? to me, from the cameras used, their boring ass pre and post game coverage. The only good thing they have is their play by play with Hubbie, Van Gundy,etc.

So much has changed at the networks since then so I wouldn't hold my breath for it to be the "same". NBC has been bought and sold like 3 times since then, and your local McDonalds has less employee turnover than these networks do. Trust.
In fact, ABC/ESPN brought on many of the producers and executives from NBC's NBA production when they got the contract. Which is normal. i.e. almost all of the production staff of the old CBS NFL staff was hired by Fox when they got the NFC contract (including John Madden and Summeral.)
