Do you deserve a "Michelle Obama Type"

Michelle Obama is the black woman that has everything or at least it appears she does. She is slim smart attractive and holds down her man. She is high achieving but humble. Makes (made) money but is also a good mother. Had a convo with my sis today. She said there are a lot of black Michelle Obama types it is just black men over look them or want their egos stroked extra hard by their woman. They don't want their women to "out do" them. Therefore they go for the vunerable, easy to walk over, aint about ? , baby mama, hoodrat types, then complaint their are no good black women or live up to their potential anyway (ei: the hs dropout, janitor type wanting the "dime") She also said most black men don't even deserve someone to hold them down because they don't measure up I wasn't sure about this. Im not sure there are a lot of Michelle Obamas plus just cause a guy is not good looking or has a ? job doesn't mean they don't deserve a good partner. So do you deserve a MO type? Your thoughts?

My pops generation had them as the norm, now its the exception. I still am going to find a slim black woman with a cute face along a head on her shoulders. I can find them, just that I need to travel a bit more.

I always witness a woman's character by what she does for other people that cannot help themselves. Like homeless people, old folk, and kids that aint hers. If she helps them out without asking anything in return, then that is a woman that you need to invest in. -
your sister is full of ? and just called the kettle black. most of what she described is the complete opposite.

I dont like the word deserving but i think if you want all those qualities in a partner you should probably embody some of those yourself. You can't be "ain't ? " and expect to find someone of some substance.
i agree with the last part, but not everyone deserves a good partner, some men deserve ? because that is what they are. like the say: a good man is hard to find. they never really say that about women. -

I dont like the word deserving but i think if you want all those qualities in a partner you should probably embody some of those yourself. You can't be "ain't ? " and expect to find someone of some substance.

Deserve is such an arrogant word.
I, personally, don't believe I would be considered a Michele Obama type but I think I have a good amount of traits that would make me a good catch and that's what i also look for in a guy. -

Look wise she's not my cup of tea.
Intelligent, fun, fit, classy, sophisticated, charitable, ride or die....yeah I deserve all of that and she seems to possess all of those qualities.
